The Marriage Collective
Statistics say that couples who get some sort of marital training, are 31% less likely to get divorced. Not only that, couples who participate in marital training experience a 30% increase in marital success and fulfillment over those who do not. Marital Coaching is a catalyst for personalized insight, and exploring how you can leverage your unique combination of personalities and values, to have the relationship and marriage you have always hoped for.
This is why The Marriage Collective was created! To educate couples on the skills they need to have an amazing life together. We offer our clients three different pathways to strengthen their relationship, and bulletproof their marriage.
Coaching services offered:
1. Pre-Marital Coaching
For Pre-Marital Coaching, we use a program called SYMBIS, which is an acronym for Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts. This program is designed for couples who are not yet married and want to strengthen the bond they already have, as well as refine their expectations for their future marriage. Together, we will discuss a wide range of important topics such as finances, marriage mindset, self-concept, independence, similarities, relational "baggage," in-law relationships, spiritual beliefs, role expectations, communication, attitudes/happiness, conflict management, blending of a family (if relevant) and yes, even sex! Although each session is richly filled with insight and revelation for the couple, the time together is always fun and positive.
2. Personal Couples Coaching
This is specifically geared to help couples who may be experiencing either a few small relational issues, or experiencing major conflict and are in need of intervention. In these sessions, we will discuss, not only the conflict, but the patterns and behaviors that are contributing to the issues. Throughout the process, we will work on developing new skills of communication, conflict management and resolution.
3. The Original Marriage Collective
“Are we weird?” “Do we fight more than other couples?” “Are we on the right track?” “Why do our neighbors seem to be happier than us?” “Have we fallen out of love?” “Are all relationships this hard?” “Can we get back, what we used to have together?” If you have ever wondered about these questions, then you are not alone.
There is tremendous value in the counsel of trusted advisors, and the The Original Marriage Collective (MC) is just that! A group of people with a common goal. And, that is to have the best relationships possible. The MC gives you your own “Board of Directors” for your marriage. The perspective from other’s input provides much needed accountability for your personal, spiritual, professional and relational growth and development. Since isolation has been called the enemy of excellence, by leveraging the influence of other like-minded couples, who deeply care about your success, you will no longer have to go it alone.
An MC consists of five to seven married, or engaged couples, who are committed to each other’s personal growth and development as individuals and as married couples. Each group is uniquely different, either meeting once a week for 17 weeks, or meeting once every other week for a total of 9 sessions. Couples are assigned to groups that align with their values, either spiritual/Christian groups, or secular groups (no religion whatsoever). Each group, led by a facilitator, meets via Zoom for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Over the course of the program, they will take a journey together to strengthen and refine their relationships. By using a variety of resources, books, workbooks, videos and assessments, they will learn 42 invaluable skills that will help them safeguard their marriage.
Going through this powerful program with a group of people, just like you, who desire to have the best marriage possible, provides valuable feedback on a variety of relationship challenges. Collaboratively designing new healthy patterns and sharing life together, allows the group to support each other in trials, and celebrate the victories. This journey is about transformation, and becoming the best couple you can be. Thereby, creating a legacy for your children, for the generations to come, and learning to demonstrate the attributes of a healthy and happy marriage.
